West Cornwall Astronomical Society
The Society exists to advance the education of the public in the science of Astronomy and has had charitable status since January 1996. ( Registered Charity No. 1052222 ).

Goonhilly Earth Station
Goonhilly Earth Station is the largest Satellite Earth Station in the World. In the last 38 years it has probably transmitted & received more remarkable events than any other Satellite Earth Station, from the Apollo 11 moon landing in 1969 to pictures from the Olympic Games in Atlanta, USA in 1996.
