Stuart Thomson

Stuart Thomson, born in Reading, UK in 1951, graduated from the Berkshire College of Art and Design in 1973, travelled extensively living in the Middle East, Southern Spain and Southern England, now settled in the Tamar valley in Cornwall.

I have always been interested in developing an understanding between my pictures and the recipricant and have developed a series of local pictures that express an atmospheric impression both through its perspective and use of colour.

I feel that the sense of being familiar with the picture and the feeling of "being there" is the appeal that I am trying to bring over.
